Grzegorz Golec – Partner
Grzegorz holds PhD in economics and graduated from Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, The Faculty of Economics and The Faculty of Law and Administration.
Grzegorz started his professional career as stockbroker (license no 1473) in BGŻ SA Brokerage House, where he worked from 1996 to 1999. From 1999 to 2002 he was in charge of corporate finance in BMT S.A. Brokerage House. Since 2002, acting as a partner in Impera Consulting sp. z o.o. and Equity Service Poland sp. z o.o. as well as being individual entrepreneur, he managed advisory projects in capital transactions field. In 2005-2008 period Grzegorz cooperate with Supernova Capital where he served as President of the Management Board of NFI Progress S.A. and President of the Management Board of the company which managed assets of three National Investment Funds. Since 2008 partner Rubicon Partners where he is responsible for investment banking transactions and own investments of funds that are under Rubicon Partners management.
Grzegorz worked also as an assistant professor in macroeconomics at Higher School at Puławy and is an author of several publications concerning capital markets and economic history.
Grzegorz has extensive experience in valuation of companies, evaluation of investment projects, preparation and execution of public offerings of shares and private placement transactions.

Piotr Karmelita – Partner
Piotr graduated from Poznań Academy of Economics and Business, majored in capital investments and financial strategies of companies.
He begins his career in BMT S.A. Brokerage House (1995-2000) and before becoming the President of the Management Board, he held the positions of an assistant (1995-1996), a project manager (1997), a Director (1998), and a member of the Management Board (since 1999). As the head of the department he was responsible for valuation of companies, acquiring financing for companies via public offerings of shares and for conducting M&A transactions.
From 2002 to 2010 professionally active within the structures of the group BB Investment S.A. where, as the President of the Management Board, he coordinated the process of ownership supervision over the companies forming the group and was also responsible for private market investments related to start-up funding and seed funding. From 2006 to 2010 President of the Management Board of BBI Capital NFI S.A., where he was responsible for managing the assets of a private equity fund. Since 2011 partner of Rubicon Partners, where he is responsible for investment banking transactions and own investments of funds that are under Rubicon Partners management.
After years of active involvement in capital market transactions he possesses an extensive experience as regards valuation of companies, evaluation of investment projects, conducting of public offerings of shares and private placement transactions.

Elżbieta Kujawa – Partner
Elżbieta graduated from Warsaw School of Economics, majored in Finance & Banking.
Prior to joining Rubicon Partners, Elżbieta gained professional experience at Innova Capital, Saski Partners, Booz Allen Hamilton and Gravitas Management.
She held Supervisory Board positions at Retixa S.A., APN Promise S.A. and Stolarka Wołomin S.A.
Since 2011 in Rubicon Partners, where she is responsible for the execution of M&A transactions (especially with private equity funds) and overall management of the investment banking team. Her expertise includes consumer goods, manufacturing, healthcare and energy sectors.

Grzegorz Kubica – Partner
Grzegorz graduated from University of Economics in Katowice (Faculty of Management and Marketing), majored in organization and management of companies.
Grzegorz gained professional experience in TESCO POLSKA sp. z o.o., MEBLO-EXPO Sp. j. (currently Beskidzkie Fabryki Mebli sp. z o.o.), and PKN ORLEN S.A., among others. From 2007 to 2008 he served as a President of the Management Board of BBI ZENERSI NFI S.A. (previously FOKSAL NFI S.A.), where he was responsible for preparation and realization of fund’s development strategy. From 2008 to 2010 he served as Vice President of EGZO GROPUS sp. z o.o. – PR/IR agency – where he was responsible for investment relation management for the company’s client (e.g. MIRBUD S.A., PAGED S.A., BIOTON S.A., HARDEX S.A., BBI DEVELOPMENT NFI S.A., BBI CAPITAL NFI S.A., ELZAB S.A., EFH S.A.).
Since 2010 in Rubicon Partners, where he conducts M&A and project finance transactions both on the private and public market.

Michał Chabowski – Partner
Michał graduated from Warsaw School of Economics, majored in Corporate Finance and Investment Banking (The Faculty of Finance & Accounting).
Since 2013 in Rubicon Partners, where he is responsible for the conducting and supervision of start-up investments in VC funds managed by Rubicon Partners. Member of Supervisory Boards and financial director of portfolio companies, actively involved in their development (venture building, business development and optimization of financing sources).
He gained his previous professional experience conducting investment banking (M&A) projects within the Rubicon Partners and in VC funds (evaluation and management of investment projects) and consulting companies (evaluation of investment projects and financial modeling).

Paweł Madej
Paweł graduated from University of Warsaw, Economics (Faculty of Economic Sciences) as well as Management and Marketing (Faculty of Management).
In 2011 – 2015, he was serving as analyst and senior in EY, where he was involved in corporate finance projects: debt and mezzanine fundraising, financial and operational restructuring, independent business review, liquidity management as well as other financial advisory projects. In 2016 – 2018, he worked also as a Manager in corporate finance boutique RSQ Associates where he was engaged in M&A transactions and interim management projects. He acted as an advisor to the board as well as took a management roles in companies, mainly in the area of finance and business development.
Paweł is experienced in analysis and assessment of investment projects, valuation of companies, financial modelling, preparation of transaction documentation, profitability evaluation of greenfield projects and coordination of the M&A processes. Paweł passed 2 levels of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Marcin Prokopiuk
A graduate of Warsaw School of Economics, Finance and Accounting.
In the years 2013–2015, he gained experience in the PKP PLK investment project management office and in Deloitte audit department. In the years 2016-2018 he worked as an Analyst and Senior in DDPP Securities, where he was responsible for mergers and acquisitions and other projects in the field of corporate finance.
Has experience i.a. in finding investors, creating transaction documentation and valuations, financial modeling, analyzing investment projects, financial restructuring and managing due diligence processes.
He holds a securities broker license with authorization to perform investment consultancy activities (No. 3289).
